Teresa Williams is the Co-Owner & Director of Babe’s-N-Tots Childcare Center in Waco, Texas. She is a native of Waco, and has 2 children, Michelle and Vincent, 4 granddaughters, and a “grand dog” named Zeus.
Teresa has an Associate of Applied Arts in Business Management from McLennan Community College, Waco, TX, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Paul Quinn College, Dallas, TX, and a 26 year retiree of Mars Chocolate North America, Waco, Tx.
Our Center open its doors in October 2016, and became fully licensed in 2017. A Listed Home Provider for 4yrs, and worked with 5-12yr olds in the Children’s Ministry of her church, LovingKindness Ministries House of Prayer, Praise, & Worship, for 5yrs teaching, creating Christian lesson plans and activities, co-coordinating annual programs for the children. It’s been God’s persistence that has guided Teresa in pursuing a hidden passion to provide a healthy, safe, and learning environment for children. All children deserve the opportunity to learn and have the love of learning instilled in them right from the start. Knowledge is the power they will possess throughout their lives that cannot be taken from them, the love for them all comes naturally!
Babes N Tots focuses on holistic early childhood education, emphasizing physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development. Central to their approach is fostering positive communication and social interactions between adults and children. Teachers prioritize understanding each child’s individuality, meeting them at their developmental stage, and setting challenging yet attainable goals. All teaching methods are tailored to children’s age and developmental status, with staff responsive to their unique needs and the social and cultural environment they belong to.
Our center prioritizes the pivotal first five years of a child’s life, fostering a nurturing environment where staff and families collaborate to ensure safety, respect, and empowerment for children. We maintain a highly qualified staff with extensive education and experience. Supporting lifelong learning for both adults and children, we aim to create a space where laughter, learning, and love abound. Through partnership with families, our dedicated staff instills essential skills for lifelong success in children.
